The Faculty of Medical and Health
Sciences (FMHS) at Grafton has a security system to control access.
Campus redevelopment has altered access to the Philson for the foreseeable.
Access during business hours - 8:00am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri:
Enter the FMHS Building through the
main entrance. Indicate to staff at the Reception Desk in the
foyer that you wish to visit the library and they will open the gates.
Stairs - go through the wooden door immediately to your left through the security gates.
Lifts - are just to your right through the security gates.
Go to Level 1, follow signs to the Philson Library.
After 5:30 pm and during the weekend:
The main foyer entrance doors are locked; however, if you walk down the paved area to the left of the main doors, there is an unlocked door which leads into a glass passage.
Once through the door, turn right and through another glass door, then veer left to find the Goods Lift.
Take Goods Lift to Level 1; follow signs to the Philson Library. (NB: If you are unable to use lifts, there is a phone you can use to call library staff).
