Almost 200 ADHB staff signed up for Associate Library Membership! Due to the record turnout we are still processing some applications.
If you missed the Membership Drive, you can still sign up or renew:
For new membership:
Bring the membership form and your current ADHB ID card to the Philson Library Lending Desk; 8.30-5.30 pm Mon-Fri (entry via the Medical School Atrium, Building 505).
For staff at Greenlane, email us and a
Librarian can come out by appointment.
To renew membership:
Complete and scan a copy of the membership form.
Scan a copy of your ADHB ID card.

Wed 7th March @ 12-2 Ground Floor by Reception, Main Foyer, Building 4, Green Lane Clinical Centre
**Bring your current ADHB ID card - if it has expired, renew it at:
The ID Office, Building 10, Ground Floor, Greenlane, between 12-2pm, or
The ID Centre on Level 3 of the support building, Auckland City Hospital.
Library Membership lets you access ADHB Library Links E-journals and Databases from home/offsite, borrow and request Library books (delivered to you!), and log on to computers in the Philson Library.

Apply for (or renew) your Library Membership. Librarians will be on site today at Auckland City Hopsital from 12-2pm in the main Atrium on Level 5.
Bring your current ADHB ID card (if it has expired, renew it at the ADHB ID Centre on Level 3 of the support building, Auckland Hospital).
Library membership lets you borrow and request Library books, access Library Links e-journals and databases from home and log on to computers in the Philson Library.

Philson Library Christmas/New Year break 21 December 2011
The Philson Library will close on Thursday, 22nd December 2011 at 10pm and reopen on Wednesday, 4th January 2012 at 8am. In an emergency while the library is closed, contact library staff on mobile 021 066 5911.

New wing of Philson Library now open 06 December 2011
A temporary space in the new Library wing is now open for business.
The Library entrance is on Level 1 of the Boyle Building atrium (opposite the Domain).
Just come in the new main entrance, up the stairs and across the bridge to get to the Library.

Philson Library closed Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November 08 November 2011.
The Philson Library will be closed on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November while library staff and equipment are temporarily relocated as part of a refurbishment.
Refurbishments will begin 28 November and end by 1 May 2012. To allow the library to operate temporarily in a reduced space many items, including print journals and print theses, are being removed for the duration. These may be requested as usual.
The new entrance to the Library will be from the Boyle Building atrium from Sunday 27 November onwards. This is also the new reception area for the Faculty.
In an emergency during the time the library is closed, library staff may be contacted on mobile 021 066 5911.
