Philson Library services at Alert Level 2
The Philson Library is back to normal hours. You are welcome to browse items, utilise the helpdesk, and study spaces.
Click and Collect
Our popular click and collect service will continue. ADHB Associate Members may request books held at any of our libraries and collect them from your library of choice. We will email you when your item is available to collect.
Visiting Campus
- Bring your Campus Card to collect your request and use study spaces. If you do not have a Campus Card please ensure you have your ADHB ID card with you.
- While on campus, we encourage you to wear a face covering and maintain physical distancing.
- Please register your attendance by using the University's attendance recording app, Check-IN (with your username and password), or sign the manual register at Philson.
- We recommend you also use the Government’s NZ COVID Tracer app to keep a personal track of your movements.
Returning books and fines
You may return books that you have borrowed. No fines will be charged if you cannot return books, except for short loan items where normal fines apply.
Borrowing and Requesting
- You can request items from all campuses.
- You can borrow up to 100 books.
- Digitisation of journal articles or part of a book may be requested using the Request form on Library Links. Enter one item only per request.
- Requests for items already on loan (recalls) are not available.
- If you need to remain isolated for health reasons, we can courier books to you.
