Philson Library services at Orange setting

All our libraries including Philson Library are open normal hours with infection control and public health measures in place.
The main entrance doors of the Faculty of Medical and Health Science building are open as normal. 

Borrowing and requesting

• A current Library Associate Membership and Campus ID Card is required to borrow and request books
• Visit our libraries and browse the shelves for items. You may borrow up to 100 books.
• Our popular Click and Collect service continues to be available. Request books held at any of our libraries and collect them from the library of your choice. 
• From Monday 2 May 2022 requesting books already on loan (recalls) is available again. There is a minimum of 5 days from the date of issue before a book on loan can be recalled/requested.
• We will email you when your item is available to collect, or if a book you have on loan has been recalled by another patron
• Request the books you need using the Request form
• Please return books that are due. We will email you if there is a change in due date for any of your books on loan, so make sure you’re checking your email address regularly. Fines may be incurred for overdue books.

Digitisation of articles and book chapters
